POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Appointments:
− Massage sessions are available by appointment only.
− The first appointment which includes history and assessment will last approximately 75 minutes.
− Appointments are available Mondays & Wednesdays from 10am - 8pm; Tuesdays from 10am - 5pm; 
− Saturdays & Sundays from: 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Payments:
− Payment is due at the time of appointment in the form of cash, money order or website PayPal options only.
− If you have insurance, you must still pay at the time of your appointment. I will provide a receipt that you can
   submit to your insurance company if these services are covered.

Fees:
− Range of Fees start at: $80.00 for one (1) hour up to $120.00 for one and a half (1 ½) hours.
− Fees are generally not increased more than once a year.
− Range of Fees does not reflect package deals, seasonal offerings or ongoing therapy series.
− Special offerings, packages, coupons and/or discounts cannot be combined or transferred.

Cancellations:
− If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so 24-48 hours in advance, otherwise a $35.00 cancellation fee
   will be charged.  
− Three (3) consecutive cancellations will prohibit future appointments.
− Emergency cancellations will not be charged at the practitioner’s discretion.

Promptness:
− It is important that you are on time for all appointments. A certain amount of time is allotted for each patient’s
   visit. If you are late you will still be charged the full fee and the session will end at the time it was originally 
   scheduled to end.

Professionalism:
− My profession complies with the code of ethics which is available upon request. I abide by the Standards of
   Practice of the American Massage Therapy Association (www.amtamassage.org).  
− I follow all statements within the ethical code and have strong beliefs that practitioners and their clients should not
   engage in intimate social relationships.
− Personal and professional boundaries should be respected at all times.
− I perform services for which I am qualified, and when work is not in my scope of practice, the client will be referred
   to the appropriate specialist.
− I keep accurate records and review charts before each session.
− Client’s records are kept secure and confidential.
− I respect all clients regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, social economic status, body
   type, political affiliation or state of health.

Client/Practitioner Expectations:
− Clients are expected to exhibit good hygiene and are asked to minimize the use of heavily scented perfume,
   cologne, or personal products.
− The use of all phones or beepers are prohibited during massage session; except in special circumstances, agreed
   upon beforehand by the massage therapist.
− Massage sessions may be terminated at anytime the massage therapist has reason to believe the client is
   sexualizing the massage, using inappropriate or threatening language or behavior or disrespecting the practitioner
   in any way.
− We will discuss information concerning the session before or after, however, it is advised against talking during the
   session unless absolutely necessary.
− If clients have any questions or concerns, they should always ask for clarification from the therapist.
